Rotary Club of Oakville Million Dollar Hole in One, June 6th – June 10th
This is a FUN event for golfers and non-golfers alike and can include the whole family. All competitors have a chance to test their skills and good fortune. The Million Dollar Hole in One Competition works like this; for 5 consecutive days a special golfing green is set up on the Piper’s Heath driving range approximately 130 yards from a series of tee mats. Participants attempt to qualify each day for the finals event. The TOP TEN (10) Daily “closest to the pin” winners win a fabulous prize and also advance to the semifinal round for a chance at winning the $1 million prize.
A hole-in-one has been called golf’s most coveted shot. Combine the excitement of a hole-in-one with the opportunity to win a million dollars and you’ve got an exciting attraction. The popularity of this event has been increasing every year with this years attendance expected to top 600 people.
Golfers can participate in the event
June 6 – 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on
June 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
A $20 ticket purchase gives each golfer a bucket with 25 balls for 25 chances to win!
Funds raised from the event will enable the Rotary Club of Oakville to continue its ongoing support of numerous local causes which have included Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton, the new Oakville Hospital, Student Bursaries for post secondary education, Dreams Take Flight, Halton Women’s Place, Ian Anderson House, the Salvation Army and many others.
