Modern Golf to set up a new mobile fitting centre at Piper’s Heath Golf Club

Toronto (May 3, 2013) – Custom golf club-fitting facility Modern Golf is setting up an outdoor
mobile fitting centre at Piper’s Heath Golf Club in Milton, Ontario on May 4, 2013 to expand its club-fitting
services to golfers of all levels.

The new centre at Piper’s Heath will accommodate multiple golfers per day, and Piper’s Heath
will be the first public golf club to allow golfers to have outdoor access to the entire suite of fitting services
offered by Modern Golf.

Modern Golf partner Hoyt McGarity says the idea came to fruition because many golfers need
to actually see the ball in flight while getting fit, and until now, public golfers only had access to Modern
Golf’s indoor facility. “Some people are numbers people, but some people need to see it,” says McGarity. “At Piper’s Heath, customers will be able to get the full fitting experience – all of the shafts and all of the heads we
have in the indoor shop will be available.”

Previously, custom club-fitting was only available to the golfing elite, but Modern Golf has been
helping all golfers find the right set of clubs to complement their golf game since its establishment in 2011.
This will be the first opportunity for golfers to get the full Modern Golf fitting experience outdoors,
at one of the Greater Toronto Area’s premiere public golf courses.

Modern Golf will be on the road visiting other clubs in Canada and the U.S., but Piper’s Heath will
be the main home base for the outdoor mobile fitting centre.

Please note that Piper’s Heath maintenance staff will begin aerating our putting greens on Monday, April 29th and Tuesday, April 30th (dates subject to change).

The front 9 is expected to be closed on April 29th (scheduled groups will be allowed to play the back 9 twice).

18 hole green fees for Monday, April 29th through Thursday, May 2nd will be reduced to $53.10 to walk, or $61.95 with a golf cart.

We will return to our normal spring rates as of Saturday, May 4th.

Overview / Goals

A four week program designed to introduce beginners to the basic ideas and concepts behind a variety of different golf shots; from short-game through to long-game with each new lesson building on the ideas introduced in the previous week. The goal of the clinic will be to provide each participant with an understanding of how to successfully perform each skill introduced and provide participants with an opportunity to learn and practice these new skills in an inviting group atmosphere.

Itinerary:

Week One – Putting

Week Two – Pitching

Week Three – Iron Shots

Week Four – Driving

Tuesday or Thursday evening’s, 7:00pm – 8:00pm

$99.00 per person, for a series of four dates.

All lessons take place at the Piper’s Heath practice facility.
